For luxury-lovers you can’t do much better - each of the bedrooms has a huge squishy bed, with a flat-screen LCD telly ready to do its bidding. The bathrooms have heated floors, with limestone tiling and best-in-show bath suites keeping the chic quota running at full pelt. The sitting rooms have massive sofas, big wall-mounted tellies, sizeable dining areas and, of course, those views over Bath.

They really are bolt holes at their best, and for a weekend retreat, you don’t really have to worry about cleaning dishes or dirty towels - just eat out at Bath’s fabulous restaurants and drip-dry by running around your very own luxury apartment in the nude.
